About The Position

The Supply Chain Analyst II at UT Southwestern is responsible for standardizing and improving supply chain processes and data management within the organization. This role involves business process analysis, data quality assurance, and providing technical support to various departments. The analyst will work closely with the Supply Chain Analytics team and other departments to enhance operational efficiency and support strategic sourcing and procurement projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Management, Healthcare, Statistics, Business, Supply Chain Management or closely related field, or Associate's Degree or High School Diploma with relevant experience.
  • 2 years of data management/analytics experience performing systems analysis and/or business process analysis within a healthcare or related industry with a Bachelor's Degree, or 4 years of related experience with an Associate's Degree, or 6 years of related experience with a High School Diploma/equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with MS Office Suite, SQL, Excel, and Access.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft, Jaggaer, Power BI, Service Now, Recall Management software, GPO software, GHX, and SC Logic.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Supply Chain areas of Analytics, Strategic Sourcing, Contracts Management, Purchasing, Materials Management Operations, and Asset Management.
  • Assist SC Analyst Sr. and Manager, SC Systems & Analytics with data extraction or data mining and reporting.
  • Identify key data points, perform analysis, and compile meaningful recommendations for stakeholders.
  • Assist with departmental projects and serve as a secondary contact for reporting/data mining tasks.
  • Monitor compliance to project scope, timelines, and deliverables, providing regular updates to SC Analyst Sr. and the Manager.
  • Ensure accuracy of data and reporting, establishing processes to validate data on an ongoing basis.
  • Assist in developing queries/reports and troubleshooting.
  • Cultivate and maintain successful relationships with peers and business colleagues.
  • Increase efficiency of operations and identify new cost savings opportunities through analysis and data mining.
  • Coordinate the preparation and submission of documents to federal and state agencies as required.
  • Maintain specific supplier relationships and ensure contract performance/compliance.
  • Assist with strategic sourcing and procurement projects, communicating activities and results to business owners.
  • Assist in developing procedural documents and training tools for standardizing operations.
  • Produce ad hoc, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports using Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
  • Maintain and develop Item Master data and HUB reporting, providing process improvement recommendations.
