The Supplier Quality Manager at Safran USA, Inc. in Irving, Texas is a key technical leader responsible for collaborating with Suppliers, Design Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain. The primary focus is on the selection of qualified suppliers and the enhancement of supplier performance to positively impact the quality of both new and existing products. This role involves eradicating non-conformance and developing action plans aimed at improving the long-term quality performance of suppliers. Additionally, the position requires optimizing existing processes for supplier selection and planning, organizing, and reporting on all supplier quality-related activities. The Supplier Quality Manager will translate engineering and quality requirements into achievable plans to ensure compliance with customer quality-imposed technical requirements by suppliers. Monitoring quality activities and systems of suppliers, as well as analyzing and reviewing corrective action reports to reduce and eliminate defects, are also critical components of this role.
