Title: Supplier Quality Engineer Internship Location(s): Maple Grove, MN; Arden Hills, MN We will consider qualified applicants of all ages who are starting (or restarting) their careers At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows an onsite work model, requiring employees to be in our local office at least four-five days per week. Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment VISA for this position at this time Our Purpose: As a Supplier Quality Engineering Intern, your role is the critical in ensuring patient safety and quality of care. The Supplier Quality Engineer support on ensuring that raw material/ components provided by suppliers meets BSC, customer, and regulatory requirements. You will build relationships with professionals in a diverse range of fields, inspiring people to embrace a culture of continuous improvement. Requirements

  • Must graduate between Fall 2026 and Spring 2028
  • Must have at least one semester of school left post-internship
  • Currently pursing a degree in Biomedical engineering, Mechanical engineering, Electrical engineering, Chemical engineering, Computer science, Computer engineering, Materials engineering or Industrial engineering
  • Must be able to commit to one of the following full internship program periods: May 18th – August 7th OR May 26th – August 14th
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from the Maple Grove, MN or Arden Hills, MN Boston Scientific Corporate location
  • Experience collaborating on an engineering project in school or in a professional environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

  • Apply systematic problem-solving methodologies in identifying, prioritizing, communicating, and resolving the issues with supplier.

  • Improve patient lives around the world every day
  • Value Improvement Projects (VIPs) such as driving supplier or internal process improvements allowing cost savings for Boston Scientific
  • Propose update to inspections plans to ensure products meet critical requirements
