About The Position

As a Supplier Quality Engineer, the main responsibilities will be to manage the incoming inspection process and claim notifications with follow-up with local and intercompany suppliers. This position will also be responsible for the initiation and tracking of sorts. Lastly, the supplier quality engineer will control the Supplier and Distributor Auditing: Evaluation, Improvement activities, Performance Monitoring for Bonfiglioli.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Manufacturing/Engineering
• Quality Experience 3-5 years
• Familiar with ISO/ TS16949 Certification
• Lean Manufacturing/ Toyota Production System understanding
• Technical, rational and analytical approach.
• Problem solving attitude.
• Willingness and ability to work in teams.
• Communication skills, willingness to share and delegate responsibility.
• Coordinate short and long term actions for Quality Issues
• Usage of Excel and various databases for data and reporting chart development

Responsibilities

• 8D Root cause analysis and/or Six Sigma Methodologies
• Work with Suppliers and Internal Departments to track and resolve any quality concerns and issues
• Familiarity with 5-Why, Ishikawa Diagram, Control Charts, P/D FMEA, Pareto Analysis, Gap Analysis, DOE
• SAP usage
• Performing vendor analysis
• Assisting Suppliers with creation of countermeasures to repeating Quality issues
• Assist in building quality into our products
