About The Position

The Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) plays a central role in ensuring that purchased materials and components meet the organization's quality, performance, and reliability standards. This position serves as a key between customers, suppliers, and internal teams, working collaboratively to resolve technical and quality-related issues in a timely and effective manner.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys problem‑solving, and is committed to driving continuous improvement across the supply chain.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Manufacturing related field with a minimum of five (5) years' experience in Quality and/or Manufacturing processes in the Aerospace and/or Defense Industry
• Experience in field can be considered in lieu of formal degree.

Nice To Haves

• ASQ Quality Engineering Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with customers, suppliers, and internal departments to troubleshoot and resolve quality or technical concerns related to purchased products.
• Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing process efficiency, product quality, and overall cost effectiveness.
• Develop and implement preventive measures to reduce defects, improve supplier performance, and strengthen incoming product quality.
• Coordinate improvement activities with suppliers to elevate the performance of critical system components, including: Enhancing quality and delivery performance Reducing nonconforming product escapes Minimizing waiver requests and scrap
