MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company‑sponsored interim secret clearance is required to start.

Requirements

  • STEM degree at Bachelor's level or higher
  • Must be able to identify and document quality deficiencies and ensure effective corrective action.
  • Capable of performing root cause analysis and identifying solutions to complex problems.
  • Understanding engineering drawings requirements mechanical.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a dynamic environment
  • Must be able to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance
  • Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Effective communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Ability to travel

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with control and disposition of non-conforming Material (Material Review Board)
  • Thorough understanding of Quality principles in Aerospace industry
  • Experience working with Government customers
  • A strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)

Responsibilities

  • Partner with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and customers to resolve quality issues.
  • Lead product failure investigations, material review board decisions, and corrective/preventive actions.
  • Ensure corrective measures meet reliability standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop strategies and systems that elevate internal and supplier performance.
  • Assess quality systems, identify deficiencies, and implement corrective improvements.
