About The Position
The position involves developing, implementing, and following up on root cause and corrective actions (RCCA) in response to product rejections both in-house and from customers, as well as supplier rejections. The role requires performing supplier audits and hosting audits from customer and regulatory agencies, such as the Federal Aviation Administration and AS9100 registrars. The individual will also perform Over Inspection as a Designated Supplier Quality Representative (DSQR), which includes conducting dimensional inspections, reviewing documentation and test data, and submitting data as specified by customers. Additionally, the position entails managing First Article Inspection (FAI), maintaining the Supplier portal, monitoring supplier performance metrics, and serving as the point of contact for all suppliers.
