About The Position
The Supplier Quality Engineer at BAE Systems is a highly empowered role with strategic and tactical Supplier Quality responsibilities for given commodities/suppliers. In Controls & Avionics Solutions, you will have the opportunity to help define, support, and develop the next generation of avionics - whether it is fly-by-wire flight controls, full authority digital engine controls, or power management. The qualified individual will have responsibility for supporting supply chain quality improvement initiatives across these business areas. Candidates will need to demonstrate technical capability in order to communicate effectively with design/component engineering on quality improvement topics and quality/design/process change opportunities both internally and within the supply base while keeping cost competitiveness in mind. Candidates will also need to exhibit good interpersonal skills in order to grow supplier relationships in order to support our business needs.
