About The Position

The Supplier Quality & Development Organization is responsible for securing the best performing supply base in quality, reliability, and safety. In this role you will be directly supporting the Gas Services Central Global Customer Operations business by monitoring and continuously improving electrical system suppliers globally.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in electrical engineering or a similar field.
• At least 5+ years of professional experience in supplier quality management, quality management, or engineering in the Power Generation or Power Transmission Industry.
• Experience performing supplier evaluation, qualification, product/process qualification & technical supplier development.
• Strong understanding of HV, MV, and LV electrical systems and components.
• Extensive knowledge of NEC, NFPA, IEEE, and UL.
• Knowledge and experience in auditing ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001.
• Understanding of Lean Practices and applying quality tools and methods (5S, PDCA, FMEA, RCA, 5 WHY, Poka Yoke).
• Experience leading projects and running virtual multi-functional teams in an international environment.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 35% of the time.

Nice To Haves

• ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform supplier oversight and product inspections for regular project execution to ensure compliance with specification.
• Conduct routine audits according to supplier risk categorization and audit program.
• Identify and initiate containment on any identified non-conformances and follow-up with corrective action as necessary.
• Support supplier evaluation based on regular analysis of supplier quality and implement supplier quality improvement programs.
• Generate periodical quality performance reports and ensure appropriate improvement actions are initiated.
• Manage various Supplier Quality Management tools and databases to ensure data quality and transparency.
