In this role, you will support the deployment of policies, procedures, and standards for Supplier Quality Management that meet AS9100 and FAA requirements. This includes supplier selection and purchase order quality flow down requirements. You will utilize Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP/PPAP/AS9145), Six Sigma, and Lean concepts to monitor key characteristics, drive predictable supplier performance, and facilitate supplier improvement. Additionally, you will participate in setting up IT systems to support AS9100 process execution, including supplier portals, Approved Supplier/Vendor Lists (ASL/AVL), dock to stock programs, non-conforming material processes, and supplier performance reporting. Your responsibilities will also include ensuring conformity of products provided by the supply base, monitoring and addressing deficiencies in Supplier Performance, and managing nonconforming material in a timely manner. You will proactively manage supply base issues throughout the program lifecycle, coordinating recovery plans with stakeholders and conducting systematic Root Cause Corrective Actions (RCCA). You will have operational responsibilities supporting QN disposition, inspection plan creation, and quality information records in SAP, as well as training engineers on systems and functionality. Travel may be required at 20% or higher, including international travel.
