About The Position
Clasen Quality Chocolate (CQC) is seeking a Supplier Quality and Compliance Specialist with a focus on Dairy and Soy to join our team at our Corporate Office in Madison, WI. This position is integral to our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance in our products. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving supplier quality and compliance to prevent or eliminate food safety risks and supplier quality defects in both new and existing ingredients and packaging. This role will require a proactive approach to ensure that all suppliers meet our stringent quality standards, particularly in relation to dairy and soy products. The Supplier Quality and Compliance Specialist will have the authority to halt the receipt of any ingredients or packaging that do not comply with food safety or quality standards. This position will also involve leading and executing CQC's Supplier Management Program, which encompasses both foreign and domestic suppliers. The role will require effective communication and collaboration across various departments to ensure that quality standards are met and maintained throughout the supply chain. In addition to the technical aspects of the role, the Specialist will be expected to maintain regulatory compliance with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), and state regulations in Wisconsin and Nevada.
