About The Position

The ZF Off-Highway Solutions Minnesota Inc. team designs and manufactures hydraulic and electrohydraulic components, controls, and brake systems for off-highway machines. Our Supplier Quality team plays a critical role in ensuring that our suppliers deliver high-quality components that meet our stringent standards and customer specifications. As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will work closely with suppliers, procurement, and internal stakeholders to drive quality improvements, conduct supplier audits, and resolve quality-related issues to maintain a robust and reliable supply chain.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field.
• Experience in the environment of a manufacturing company in the position of a (supplier) quality engineer or similar.
• Quality-specific work base with rich experience in industrial parts or similar industries.
• Strong command of quality tools like SPC, MSA, FMEA, APQP, and PPAP.
• Six Sigma Greenbelt certification will be appreciated.
• Knowledge of problem-solving methods and organizational skills and can work under pressure.
• Experience in management or supporting cross-region/country projects.
• Good communication skills and teamwork spirit.

Responsibilities

• Continuously work with suppliers to improve their performance and implement controls in processes and quality plans.
• Quality-related responsibility for supplier selection, such as carrying out technical feasibility studies as well as process approval for suppliers.
• Conducting and leading supplier development projects and audits.
• Ensure compliance with the requirements of the ZF Quality Management System (ZF QMS).
• ZF Internal cross-functional cooperation with purchasing, production and quality to assure production.
