Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world. This Supplier Program Manager will report directly to the Asia Pacific Regional Associate Director. In this role, you will perform a critical role in the overall performance, relationship, and health of a supplier through the management of program business strategy and coordination of a cross-functional team. You will evaluate supplier factors, including but not limited to, capabilities, capacity, obsolescence, manage/support the program team, proposal support, qualification activities, product deliveries, customer furnished material (as applicable), meeting coordination and RShare documentation management. The Supplier Program Manager will develop key senior level relationships both internally and externally to influence and drive critical needs at the supplier.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
  • Supplier or strategic relationship management experience
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • Ability to travel 20% domestically or internationally

Responsibilities

  • Develops and executes Program and IST developed supplier strategies
  • Coordinating POC for Focused Supplier(s)
  • Support various engagements with suppliers: weekly meetings, technical interchange meeting and others as required.
  • Partners with the enterprise to align supplier priorities to support customer demand
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure requirements and performance are understood and managed.
  • Ensure GT compliance and manage internal and external engagements.
  • Proactively manage issues and communicate with internal stakeholders and IST management on RCCA.
  • Optimize a supplier's performance to meet customer needs
  • Understand Capacity, Capability, and Health of the Focused Supplier(s)
  • Coordinate continuous improvement engagements to ensure delivery of quality parts on time
  • Occasional travel – 20%
