Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Inspect incoming materials, in-process builds, and final product to verify conformance to specifications.
  • Open and close nonconforming material hold tags in the QMS.
  • Support Quality Engineers on investigations, root cause analysis, and preventive controls.
  • Gather data and assist with supplier nonconformance issues to drive resolution.
  • Write formal test reports and share results with stakeholders alongside Quality Engineering.
  • Assist with on-site sampling, inspections, and testing for approval agencies (UL, FM, ISO).
  • Participate in internal audits and improvement actions to strengthen the QMS.
  • Administer calibration activities so inspection/test gauges are current and traceable.
  • Keep the QA lab and sample/test areas orderly and audit-ready.
  • Manage sample retention inventory and associated documentation.
  • Alert Quality Engineers and the QA Manager immediately to any quality issues that could affect product.
  • Operate, schedule, and maintain lab equipment in support of Production and other teams.
  • Interpret engineering drawings to verify components, tooling, fixtures, and finished goods.
  • Set up measurement layouts on the table and record results accurately.
  • Evaluate supplier sample submissions for dimensional accuracy.
  • Use additional measurement tools as needed to complete dimensional layouts and records.
  • Design or source simple fixtures needed for measurement tasks.
  • Prepare, report, store, and archive measurement documentation.
  • Contribute to ECN/ECR processes as needed.
  • Enter critical quality data into QA databases and the ERP system.
  • Jump in on other tasks as assigned.
