About The Position

Summary The Supplier Management Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and ongoing maintenance of supplier data within Simplot’s enterprise systems. Building upon the foundational responsibilities of the Supplier Management Coordinator, this role independently manages more complex supplier maintenance activities, compliance-related processes, and system-driven supplier updates that support end-to-end procure-to-pay operations. In addition to performing day-to-day supplier onboarding and maintenance tasks, the Analyst serves as a subject-matter expert for supplier update requests and APX queue tickets, including supplier updates and inactive supplier update requests. This position also plays a key role in annual 1099 reporting activities and supports compliance initiatives such as unclaimed property, statement review, and backup withholding as needed. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong analytical skills, sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with Accounts Payable, Procurement, EDM, and other internal stakeholders. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience considered

Responsibilities

  • Perform all Supplier Management Coordinator responsibilities, including:
  • New supplier invite and onboarding processes
  • Unclaimed property support
  • Supplier statement review processes
  • Phone support coverage as needed
  • Independently manage supplier update requests, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with enterprise standards.
  • Process and resolve APX que tickets, including:
  • Supplier data updates
  • Supplier inactivation and status change requests
  • Support annual 1099 reporting activities, including data validation, issue resolution, and coordination with internal partners.
  • Review supplier information for compliance with internal controls, tax requirements, and data governance standards.
  • Serve as a point of contact for more complex supplier data inquiries and issues, escalating as appropriate.
  • Partner with Accounts Payable, Procurement, EDM, and business stakeholders to ensure supplier data enables timely and accurate transaction processing.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and support continuous improvement initiatives within Supplier Management.
