In this role, you will lead cross-functional teams to deliver program hardware on time. In order to succeed, you will manage supplier relationships, assess and report manufacturing capacity and readiness, gain visibility over sub-tier supplier performance and constraints and help suppliers influence their sub-tiers to resolve issues affecting their deliveries. You will also need to hold internal teammates accountable to action plans, using influence and interpersonal skills to achieve priorities across other departments. Required technical skills include reading blueprints, understanding S-1001 quality requirements, common industry spec requirements, and manufacturing methods. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance.
