Skanska USA Building is seeking a dedicated and relationship‑driven Subcontractor Engagement Coordinator to join our Subcontractor Engagement team. In this role, you will work closely with our GM/EVPs, Project Managers, Business Development, Project Planning leaders, and other internal partners to expand opportunities for small and diverse businesses across our projects. If you have experience in subcontractor engagement, MWBE compliance, or community outreach within the construction industry—and you’re energized by the idea of helping build a more inclusive and equitable subcontractor community—we’d love to meet you. As a key member of our team, you will help champion Skanska’s culture and values while supporting the growth, development, and participation of diverse business partners. You will collaborate with regional Subcontractor Engagement leadership and operations teams to strengthen our subcontractor network and administer Skanska’s Subcontractor Engagement compliance program. Your work will ensure that employees involved in engaging small and diverse firms understand the program requirements and are properly trained. You will also help ensure compliance with state and local regulations, Skanska’s internal program standards, and prime contract requirements related to subcontractor participation. Requirements

  • 2+ combined years of experience in relevant fields, such as Diverse Business compliance, community outreach, construction operations, employment, or subcontractor management
  • BA/BS degree in construction management, human resources management, legal, business management, labor relations, or a related field of study; or 8 years equivalent experience plus a minimum of 3 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Qualified candidates, excluding current Skanska employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Skanska does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g. H-1B status)
