Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Supplier Development Manager to join our Procurement department. You will be part of a team developing supplier activities and you will be involved in securing aircraft deliveries on-time, with perfect quality. The person we hire into this position will need to be based near a major East Coast airport hub in the U.S., such as: Atlanta, Chicago, Charlotte, D.C., NYC, or Philadelphia. It is a remote position with 80% travel.

Requirements

  • A Bachelors' Degree in Engineering or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • A minimum of eight (8) years in professional experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, and/or Program Management
  • Must have demonstrable experience applying quality management tools/techniques
  • Supplier Recovery and Crisis Management
  • Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Six Sigma
  • Practical Problem Solving
  • Lean methodologies
  • Transfers of Work between Production sites and/or to other countries
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
