Requirements

  • Supplier Relationship Management: Expert in building and maintaining strong partnerships with suppliers to enhance collaboration and performance (Level II).
  • Process Improvement: Skilled in analyzing and optimizing manufacturing and supply chain processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs (Level II).
  • Data Analysis: Proficient in interpreting complex data sets to inform decision making and drive strategic supplier development initiatives (Level II).
  • Technical Problem Solving: Adept at identifying root causes of technical issues and implementing effective solutions using engineering principles (Level II).
  • Project Management: Experienced in planning, executing, and overseeing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely and within budget delivery (Level II).
  • Effective Communication: Capable of clearly conveying complex technical information to diverse stakeholders in straightforward situations (Level II).
  • Quality Assurance: Knowledgeable in quality control standards and methodologies to ensure supplier products meet company and industry specifications (Level II).
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Understanding of supply chain dynamics and ability to coordinate activities to support seamless supplier integration (Level II).
  • Technical Documentation: Skilled in creating and maintaining detailed technical documents, reports, and specifications to support supplier development efforts (Level II).
  • Leadership: Provides informal guidance and mentorship to new team members, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment (Level II).
  • 5+ years of industry experience in Operations, Supply Chain or Supplier Development Engineering (Level II).
  • Strong influential and communication skills (Level II).

  • 10+ years of industry experience in Operations, Supply Chain or Supplier Development Engineering (Level III).
  • Strong influential and communication skills (Level III).
  • All applicants must be U.S. Persons within the meaning of the ITAR and EAR, or eligible to obtain all required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State and/or the U.S. Department of Commerce.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage WWD operational best practices in the supply chain.
  • Identify the key areas our suppliers need to improve and coach them to implement “needle moving” systems and tools.
  • Engage with suppliers to understand if they can deliver quality parts at the rate and lead time we need to satisfy our customers and if not, what countermeasures are required.
  • Evaluates supplier performance data to identify improvement opportunities and implement enhancement strategies (Level II).
  • Develops and executes process optimization plans to enhance supplier capabilities and ensure compliance with company standards (Level II).
  • Partners with procurement, quality assurance, and engineering teams to facilitate effective supplier development and integration (Level II).
  • Provides informal guidance and training to new team members and suppliers to enhance technical skills and understanding of company requirements (Level II).
  • Identifies and resolves supplier related issues using technical expertise and judgment to maintain quality and timely delivery (Level II).
  • Evaluates supplier performance data to identify improvement opportunities and ensure alignment with company standards (Level III).
  • Designs and executes process optimization plans to enhance supplier efficiency and product quality (Level III).
  • Partners with procurement, quality assurance, and engineering teams to facilitate effective supplier development and integration (Level III).
  • Identifies supply chain risks and develops strategies to mitigate potential disruptions (Level III).
  • Develops and implements strategies to enhance supplier capabilities and support long-term business objectives (Level III).
