About The Position

Responsible to develop and manage the Supplier Development Process in a process-based quality department. This position is the focal point of quality and development timing for new programs

Requirements

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Supplier Quality, Supplier Development or Purchasing (Automotive manufacturing environment preferred).
• Parts development experience with automotive suppliers
• Bilingual in Korean and English
• Ability to understand GD&T and drawings
• Six Sigma Green & Black Belt
• Knowledge of APQP, SPC, MSA and Quality System (TS16949, VDA etc.. )
• Power point & Excel Skills
• Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal
• Problem solving skills to meet project time managing
• Ability to prioritize tasks
• Ability to work in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Assess potential suppliers
• Participate in the technical review for supplier selection
• Carry out supplier development for new programs
• Manage supplier’s development timing to meet the new program schedule
• Review supplier’s 4M preparation plan in terms of part quality
• Audit supplier’s manufacturing process
• Verity and qualify supplier’s parts and products
• Verify supplier’s manufacturing capacity
• Perform regular process audit at the mass production stage
