Administration of Human Resource Programs

This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific individual eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after complete review of the EDRP application. This is an OPEN CONTINUOUS ANNOUNCEMENT and will remain open until January 16, 2026. The initial cut-off date for referral of eligible applications will be November 28, 2025. Eligible applications received after that date will be referred at regular intervals until positions are filled. Total Rewards of a Allied Health Professional The Suicide Prevention Program Manager oversees the administrative and clinical aspects of this major specialty treatment program as well as supervises a number of multidisciplinary professional staff including Senior Social Workers, Social Workers, administrative support assistant, and master's level social work practicum students. Suicide Prevention Program staff are responsible for suicide prevention work across the catchment area including VA, Community, and DoD collaborations. Suicide Prevention Program Manager assists in planning, establishing, and implementing policies and procedures, developing individual and group goals and objectives as well as monitoring, operating, evaluating, coordinating, and overseeing the clinical staff of the assigned programs. The Suicide Prevention Program Manager directs a program with multifaceted components that provides specialized, professional, therapeutic treatment services to Veterans in the VACCHCS catchment area and oversees all suicide prevention programs and data associated with the programs. The Suicide Prevention Program Manager consults regularly with the staff to ensure timely follow up and care involving psychiatric emergencies.
