The Site Supervisor serves as the immediate, front-line leader for all full-time and part-time Security Officers assigned to the front desk, rover patrols, and special assignments. This role is responsible for ensuring consistent coverage of mandatory posts, producing weekly schedules, and maintaining operational readiness across the site. The Site Supervisor works closely with the Security Department leadership team to lead staff, manage resources, oversee incident response and investigations, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years of supervisory experience in public or military law enforcement or armed security operations
  • Valid State of Connecticut DESPP Armed Security Officer Certification (Blue Card)
  • Proven ability to lead teams , manage work schedules , and resolve operational challenges
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills , with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated organizational and planning skills , with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Familiarity with security technologies including access control systems, CCTV, and incident reporting platforms.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a corporate, healthcare, or multi-site security environment.
  • Emergency management or crisis response training.
  • CPR/First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily activities of assigned Security Officers, ensuring professionalism and adherence to post orders.
  • Develop and manage weekly schedules to ensure all mandatory posts are staffed appropriately.
  • Oversee incident response and investigations, including reviewing and approving SIRS (Security Incident Reporting System) submissions.
  • Conduct periodic site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with security protocols.
  • Perform employee performance evaluations and provide coaching and development support.
  • Collaborate with the VP of Corporate Security and other leadership team members to align site operations with broader security strategies.
  • Ensure consistent enforcement of company policies and procedures.
  • Serve as a liaison between site personnel and corporate security leadership.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, inspections, and personnel activity.
