About The Position

As a Supervisory Sales Associate you will be the face of our company to both the associates and our customers. You get to highlight our brand and image while contributing to building our reputation as a company that values its customers and their opinions. You will be directly responsible for assisting customers and helping them recognize the need for our products and services. You will also be a team leader to the associates ensuring the work environment is positive and productive. Through a continuous learning environment you will be able to stay current on products we sell and able to articulate our purpose in a manner that is educational, insightful, and professional. Requirements

  • 1-2 years of Retail or relevant work experience required.
  • 1 year of lead or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to read, write, and interpret instructional documents.
  • Basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Ability to use a calculator and calculate percentages and ratios.
  • Ability to multi-task while being attentive to customers.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative independent of direct supervision.

  • Experience in providing training documentation to sales associates on product features.
  • Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic with a desire to provide outstanding service.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively engage and make a connection with customers.
  • Ask questions and listen to customers' needs.
  • Direct customers to merchandise and inform them about upcoming events, promotions, and mobile offers.
  • Provide premier customer service.
  • Cooperate and build positive, inclusive, and respectful relationships.
  • Maintain store appearance.
  • Cross-sell products and know the layout of the store.
  • Make suggestions to customers on latest trends and current promotions based on individual needs.
  • Upsell products.
  • Learn product features and keep up with the latest trends.
  • Use a Point-of-Sales system for processing cash exchanges and handling money.
  • Complete various forms of paperwork, reports, and reconciliation.
  • Be the keeper of merchandise and complete all inventory processes.
  • Participate in periodic inventories.
  • Provide direction on assignments including prioritizing projects and managing merchandise.
  • Adhere to assigned work schedule and follow through on work assignments.
  • Provide effective leadership and demonstrate ability to direct, train, and motivate associates.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to associates.
  • May open and close locations.
