About The Position
The Supervisory Public Affairs Specialist position at the Department of the Air Force is responsible for overseeing the 502 Air Base Wing Public Affairs Office, which includes managing the Joint Basing Public Affairs offices located at Fort Sam Houston, Randolph AFB, and Lackland AFB in Texas. This role involves exercising second-level supervisory and managerial authorities, planning and organizing public affairs activities, and representing the office with various organizations. The position requires a strong understanding of public affairs principles and the ability to analyze public opinion and media support for initiatives.
