About the position

The Supervisory Program Analyst at the GS-0343-15 level plays a critical role in leading Command and Control (C2) capability development and integration within the U.S. Organization of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. This position involves planning and coordinating the work of the Coalition Operations and Exercise Branch, ensuring interoperability of joint C2 programs with mission partners, and preparing budgetary estimates for program resources. The analyst will also oversee the activities of the branch, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements while developing goals that align with organizational and Cyber objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Command and Control (C2) capability development, integration, and assessments.
  • Plan and coordinate the work of the Coalition Operations and Exercise Branch.
  • Evaluate the efficiency of joint C2 programs for interoperability with mission partners.
  • Prepare budgetary estimates and justifications for program fiscal resources.
  • Collaborate with heads of other elements to negotiate and coordinate work-related changes.
  • Apprise DDC51 of major issues surrounding multinational C4 capabilities.
  • Review, draft, and staff correspondence and directives for senior officers.
  • Plan, organize, and direct activities of the Coalition Operations Exercise Branch.
  • Develop goals and objectives that integrate organizational and Cyber objectives.
  • Establish policies and procedures for C4/Cyber requirements.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Must have a TS/SCI security clearance.
  • One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service.
  • Experience evaluating joint Command and Control (C2) programs for interoperability.
  • Experience preparing budgetary estimates and justifications.
  • Experience leading a diverse team of military, government civilian, and contractors.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with NATO and coalition operations.
  • Knowledge of C4/Cyber capabilities and requirements.
