You will serve as a SUPERVISORY INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY PROGRAM MANAGER (INFOSEC/PLCYPLN) in the NAVAL EDUCATION AND TRAINING COMMAND (N6) of CENSEABEESFACENG. This position involves conducting operational planning to enable information exchange in IT environments, reviewing IT functions for performance, developing information security policies, and supervising IT professionals within the Center for Seabees and Facilities Engineering domain.

Conduct operational planning (e.g., strategic planning, capital planning and investment control, workforce planning, policy and standards development) to enable information exchange in IT environments.
Review the performance of IT functions to provide information to management regarding cost, time, workforce, and equipment.
Review proposed information management systems for consistency with customer operational requirements.
Develop information security policies to address risk assessment, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans.
Supervise all other information technology professionals with the Center for Seabees and Facilities Engineering domain.

Must be a US Citizen.
Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
New employees to the Department of the Navy will be required to successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check.
Generally, current federal employees applying for GS jobs must serve at least one year at the next lower grade level.
Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
An annual 20 hour minimum of Cyber Workforce related continuous learning must be documented.
Obtain the foundational qualifications within nine months and the residential qualification within 12 months of appointment.
You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final Secret security clearance.
