Requirements

• Ability to establish procedures and oversee physical inventories and supply reconciliations.
• Experience in supervisory responsibilities including planning, assigning, and evaluating work.

Nice To Haves

• Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in a related field.
• Experience in healthcare supply chain management.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory control and distribution of expendable inventory.
• Conduct effectiveness and efficiency reviews of inventory management.
• Oversee the computation of supply requirements and approve purchase card transactions.
• Manage federal programs for the return and reutilization of medical supplies.
• Supervise employees from related units and conduct performance reviews.
• Develop training programs and assess training needs for subordinate staff.
• Coordinate with various technical units to ensure compliance with inventory management standards.
