About The Position

As a Supervisory Information Technology Specialist, you will serve as a senior management official responsible for overseeing the delivery of infrastructure services, including network, telecom, server, and storage services. This role involves planning, organizing, implementing, and directing activities related to infrastructure service delivery, while also providing expert advice to senior management and ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic goals.

Requirements

• Specialized experience equivalent to the next lower level, NB-VI or GS-14 in the federal service.
• Experience overseeing the delivery of infrastructure services in areas of network, telecommunications, server, and/or storage services.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a principal advisor to senior management on infrastructure service delivery.
• Represent the OCC at meetings and conferences on infrastructure service delivery.
• Supervise assigned staff and direct resources necessary to carry out the assigned program.
• Exercise oversight and integration control over the organization's information technology and technical customer support requirements.
• Manage a large and complex network, including conducting cost-benefit analyses and establishing security practices.
• Establish objectives and goals to support the OCC strategic plan.
• Lead efforts to develop, implement, and manage long and short-term IT plans in compliance with the IT strategic plan.
• Provide expert input to the development and implementation of the mission, goals, and objectives.
• Direct the implementation of project plans to meet objectives and manage project resources.
• Communicate complex technical requirements to non-technical personnel and prepare briefings for senior management.
