About The Position
The position serves as the Supervisory Environmental Safety Occupational Health Specialist for Installation Management at Defense Distribution Depot San Joaquin CA (DDJC), as Chief of the Environmental Management Division. The role involves planning, managing, and implementing the DLA Installation Management San Joaquin Tracy Sites Environmental and Occupational Programs. The specialist supervises a subordinate staff comprised of Environmental Protection Specialists and Environmental Protection Assistants, prepares instructions and directives, and formulates policy for effective management of environmental programs. Additionally, the specialist ensures that command and senior officials receive expert-level advice, assistance, and support regarding assigned environmental programs.
