About The Position

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY EMERGENCY SERVICES DISPATCHER in the DISPATCH CENTER of MARINE CORPS BASE QUANTICO. This position involves establishing work assignments, ensuring the automated system is functioning properly, and coordinating responsibilities to promote expedient and appropriate response by emergency personnel. You will plan and organize work and manage positions to ensure maximum productivity, supervise and plan the work to be accomplished by a subordinate staff of emergency dispatchers, and review and annotate erroneous information obtained in emergency recall rosters and notifications point of contacts.

Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
• Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
• Must pass the E-Verify employment verification check.
• Must meet time-in-grade requirements for current federal employees.
• Must be registered for Selective Service if born after 12-31-59.
• Must obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Must possess CPR Certification.
• Must possess Emergency Medical Dispatch Certification.
• Must obtain Telecommunication I and II Certifications.
• Must obtain Hazardous Materials Awareness Training and Certification.
• Must obtain State of Virginia Dispatch Certifications within the first year.
