About The Position

The Supervisory Data Scientist at the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) is responsible for leading the evolution and operation of DCSA's Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Data Architectures. This role involves promoting team building, leading AI-related projects, conducting data analysis, and coordinating with various partners while ensuring compliance with federal regulations to meet customer needs.

Requirements

  • Must be a US citizen.
  • Selective Service Requirement: Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
  • Possess a degree in Mathematics, statistics, computer science, data science, or a related field, or a combination of education and experience equivalent to a major field of study.
  • Expert knowledge in providing supervision and oversight of Information Technology projects and the development of systems and software.
  • Specialized experience in facilitating the evolution and operation of DCSA's Enterprise AI and Data Architectures.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with statistical/machine learning algorithms.
  • Skill in designing approaches for automated data labeling and data life-cycle management.
  • Skill in Regression Analysis techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Perform professional work in computer science, including data science, AI/ML, system analysis, risk analysis, predictive analysis, and computer simulation.
  • Lead, analyze, interpret, and correlate qualitative and quantitative data to provide technical and scientific insight in support of DCSA objectives.
  • Apply analytic methods such as regression, decision tree, and statistical probability to improve data reliability and quality.
  • Lead implementation strategies for system development and analysis, operational logistics, project funding/budgeting, project cost, schedule, and performance management.
  • Direct and coordinate data mining, analysis, modeling, development of mathematical algorithms, and computer program design with government agencies and coalition partners.
