This position requires a qualified candidate to demonstrate sufficient experience and/or education to perform the duties associated with the role. Experience can include both paid and unpaid work, including volunteer work through National Service programs and other organizations. Candidates must clearly identify their duties and responsibilities in previous positions, including the total number of hours worked per week. The basic requirements include a degree in engineering from an accredited program or a combination of education and experience that provides a thorough knowledge of the physical and mathematical sciences underlying engineering. Additionally, candidates must meet minimum qualifications, including at least one year of specialized experience in providing technical advice regarding water supply, wastewater, or solid waste facilities, as well as preparing design documents and engineering reports.
