About The Position
The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a first level supervisor over subordinate loadmasters and as an aircrew member. The Air Reserve Technician (ART) plans, directs, and manages operational and training matters pertaining to assigned loadmasters. Responsibilities include supervising loadmaster functions, performing instructor duties, operating aircraft airdrop systems, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. The ART also develops training programs for loadmaster instructors and conducts in-flight, classroom, and on-the-job training.
