About The Position

TASC (Treatment Alternatives for Stronger Communities) is a social impact organization founded in 1976, dedicated to empowering individuals and strengthening communities. Guided by the belief in positive change, TASC advocates, supports, and empowers people to overcome barriers, achieve recovery, and reshape their destinies through Specialized Case Management. The organization operates at the intersection of behavioral health and the criminal legal system, aiming for a future where health, safety, and justice are synonymous with hope. The Adult Criminal Justice and Treatment Services (ACJS) division supports clients with substance use disorders by providing screenings, assessments, treatment placement, progress monitoring, and support services like insurance enrollment, state ID assistance, and employment resources. This full-time Supervisor position is responsible for overseeing staff within the Collaborative Bridges program. This program provides coordinated services to adults who have received care in three partner hospitals. The supervisor will collaborate with Collaborative Bridges staff to ensure clients receive linkages to comprehensive medical care, Medication Assisted Recovery, or other evidence-based programs for substance use disorders, and will monitor intervention outcomes. The role also involves providing referrals for identified client needs, coordinating outreach to community-based social service agencies addressing Health-related Social Needs (HRSNs), and working with Care Coordinators to remove barriers to care such as insurance, transportation, and childcare. The supervisor will be an integral part of an interdisciplinary team comprising both TASC and Collaborative Bridges staff.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • CADC certification within two years of employment with TASC may be required based on contractual obligations
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
  • Demonstrated experience in group facilitation
  • Knowledge of the current ASAM placement criteria, DSM-V as it relates to substance-related disorders, and Code of Ethics for substance abuse professionals, or the ability to acquire the knowledge
  • Comfort working inside a correctional setting and with persons convicted of serious violent offenses
  • Flexibility in thinking and approaches to leading group discussions
  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Good time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Manages and provides oversight for staff productivity and all participant and program related services.
  • Serves as direct liaison to Administrator for operational issues.
  • Addresses issues that arise among staff and/or clients.
  • Establishes work schedules for assigned staff and provide direct coverage when necessary.
  • Prepares, interprets and present reports regarding program initiatives and assist the Administrator in the evaluation of service and utilization of resources.
  • Provides guidance and support in resolving crisis situations with participants' in the review of staff performance and the completion of annual performance evaluations.
  • Provide representation and consultation with other outside professionals to facilitate coordination, collaboration and cooperation between the agency and the community.
  • Develop effective working relationship with appropriate project staff and community-based service providers.
  • Provide assertive and continuous outreach activities related to direct participant services.
  • Make referrals to all essential needed participant services i.e.: substance use disorder treatment, recovery support services, housing, physical/mental health services, etc.
  • Serves as direct liaison to the Administrator for program related needs and operational issues
  • Participate in community meetings, training and projects.
  • Develops effective working relationships with the internal and external partners
