JOB SUMMARY: Production Floor Supervisor must be able to assist in, lead, and assess the performance of any floor employee to insure 100% utilization of the equipment/production time and employee issues during operating hours. The Supervisor is responsible for the operation/throughput/quality of all product/equipment during their shift. The Supervisor is responsible to ensure all company policies and guidelines are followed and enforced during plant operations.

Requirements

  • Three five years experience in manufacturing.
  • High School diploma and three to five years supervisor experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in global contract manufacturing and EMS industry.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting, direct, instruct, train assist and evaluate production employees.
  • Planning layout and regulate resources to meet production schedules.
  • Ensure maintenance of equipment.
  • Promote quality and safety in work area.
  • Maintain various production and operator records and documentation.
  • Works assigned shift.
  • Performs other support duties as assigned by Sr. Director of Supply Chain.
  • Performs other duties when required that are outside of normal job duties.
  • May be asked to assist in other duties to ensure production needs are met in a timely manner.
