About The Position

Supervisor - Falls Church, VA (Direct Hire- Full Time, M-F) IST Management Services is sourcing for a direct hire, full-time, Supervisor position in Falls Church, VA. This position will work full time hours per day in a mail room. IST is a rapidly growing business process outsourcing (BPO) company and the largest American privately-owned facilities management company. Founded in 1997, the company is a two-time recipient of the Human Resources Professional Excellence Award granted by the Society for Human Resource Management. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
One year experience supervising or managing similar operations preferred
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) and familiarity with computer basics is preferred
Must have customer service skills and be able to maintain a consistent, high level of service; Ability to communicate both verbally and written with customers and other employees both one-on-one and during meetings
Knowledge of supervisory techniques to manage, motivate and train employees
Ability to prepare reports and present information to customers
Must have attention to detail and critically think through and resolve problems; Ability to multi-task, manage multiple accounts and establish priorities
A valid driver’s license and/or reliable transportation to and from work
Lifting up to 55 pounds; standing for long periods of time; significant walking; willingness to cross-train for other job functions

Responsibilities

Maintain effective written and oral communications with clients and employees
Prioritize work and deploy staff as required to ensure customer needs are met in regards to on-time delivery of services and quality of work
Ensures all work standards are met on a consistent basis; Ensures all work standards are met on a consistent basis by IST site employees
Insures maximization of productivity through efficient use of standard operating procedures; Develops new procedures to improve the operation of the sites and to lower operating costs
Manages, trains and coaches’ employees and develops a work environment that promotes high motivation and customer satisfaction
Ensures the proper and safe use of all equipment used by employees and complete tasks as assigned; Respond to building occupant requests and monitor Service Now ticket queue
Manages conference room setup and breakdown – chairs, easels, etc.; Assist with handling office moves, box moves and conference room setups
