About The Position

Supervisor - Falls Church, VA (Direct Hire- Full Time, M-F) IST Management Services is sourcing for a direct hire, full-time, Supervisor position in Falls Church, VA. This position will work full time hours per day in a mail room. IST is a rapidly growing business process outsourcing (BPO) company and the largest American privately-owned facilities management company. Founded in 1997, the company is a two-time recipient of the Human Resources Professional Excellence Award granted by the Society for Human Resource Management. Benefits Include: Medical, Dental, Vision, STD, LTD, Life, 401k, Paid Time Off, Pet Insurance and Bonus Incentives Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm Compensation: While the compensation for this position is finally dependent upon the candidate’s experience/qualifications, the approximate compensation for this role will be $26.00 to $27.00 USD per hour. NOTE: As a requirement of this position, you must be a U.S citizen. Applicant must be able to meet client standards to fill position.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • One year experience supervising or managing similar operations preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) and familiarity with computer basics is preferred
  • Must have customer service skills and be able to maintain a consistent, high level of service; Ability to communicate both verbally and written with customers and other employees both one-on-one and during meetings
  • Knowledge of supervisory techniques to manage, motivate and train employees
  • Ability to prepare reports and present information to customers
  • Must have attention to detail and critically think through and resolve problems; Ability to multi-task, manage multiple accounts and establish priorities
  • A valid driver’s license and/or reliable transportation to and from work
  • Lifting up to 55 pounds; standing for long periods of time; significant walking; willingness to cross-train for other job functions

Responsibilities

  • Maintain effective written and oral communications with clients and employees
  • Prioritize work and deploy staff as required to ensure customer needs are met in regards to on-time delivery of services and quality of work
  • Ensures all work standards are met on a consistent basis; Ensures all work standards are met on a consistent basis by IST site employees
  • Insures maximization of productivity through efficient use of standard operating procedures; Develops new procedures to improve the operation of the sites and to lower operating costs
  • Manages, trains and coaches’ employees and develops a work environment that promotes high motivation and customer satisfaction
  • Ensures the proper and safe use of all equipment used by employees and complete tasks as assigned; Respond to building occupant requests and monitor Service Now ticket queue
  • Manages conference room setup and breakdown – chairs, easels, etc.; Assist with handling office moves, box moves and conference room setups
