About The Position

The Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations. This role ensures exceptional customer service, efficient food preparation, team leadership, and adherence to food safety and cleanliness standards. The Supervisor leads by example, maintaining a fun, energetic atmosphere while driving sales and operational excellence.

Requirements

• 2+ years of supervisory experience in food service, quick-service, or hospitality.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• IL Food Manager Certificate
• Food handler certification
• Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
• Must be able to lift up to 25+ pounds at times.

• Experience in high-volume or seasonal operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily opening and closing procedures.
• Ensure smooth service during high-volume periods.
• Monitor food quality, presentation, and portion control.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Manage inventory, control waste, and place supply orders.
• Maintain cleanliness of prep areas and guest-facing spaces.
• Supervise, train, and coach team members.
• Create and manage staff schedules.
• Delegate responsibilities and ensure accountability.

• Address employee concerns and performance issues professionally.
• Provide friendly, efficient, and professional service.
• Resolve guest inquiries and complaints promptly.
• Ensure consistent product quality and brand standards.
• Promote daily specials and drive upselling initiatives.
• Manage daily cash handling and POS reconciliation.
• Monitor labor costs and productivity.
• Track daily sales and report performance metrics.
• Support marketing initiatives and local promotions.
