About The Position

(Wed - Sat) (7:00pm- 5:30am) We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Manager to oversee daily operations in our warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring shipping and receiving quality and maintaining inventory control. This role is crucial in enhancing productivity and implementing process improvements while fostering a safe and positive work atmosphere.

Requirements

Experience in a warehouse management or supervisory role is preferred.
Strong knowledge of shipping and receiving processes, including 3PL (Third Party Logistics) operations.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Experience in process improvement initiatives within a warehouse setting is highly desirable.
Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking inventory and operations.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and other departments.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to promote a safe working environment.
Oversee the training and development of team members to enhance performance and efficiency.
Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and implement effective inventory control measures.
Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track materials handling and optimize workflow.
Collaborate with other departments to streamline e-commerce operations and improve overall service delivery.
Identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
Maintain accurate records of shipments, receipts, and inventory transactions using AS400 or similar systems.
