This role will be based out of Marshall+Sterling’s Poughkeepsie Office We are looking for a Supervisor to be Responsible for the day to day needs and duties of the department. Ensuring processes and procedures are followed to deliver efficient and effective service to our clients. Lead and support your team, ensuring everyone follows agency procedures and delivers high-quality service. Recruit, train, and mentor staff to build a motivated and skilled department. Monitor performance, attendance, and workflow to keep the team running smoothly. Coordinate departmental programs and act as the go-to person for initiatives and projects. Maintain your professional license and stay current with continuing education to reduce risk and ensure compliance. Protect confidential information while building strong relationships with clients and colleagues. Take on special projects and contribute to the overall success of the department.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
  • Current Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license with commitment to continuing education.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with AI tools to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build professional relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Collaborative team player who works well with others and adapts quickly to new technologies and processes.

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years CL experience preferred
  • Experience with insurance software such as Vertafore is a plus.
