About The Position

The Production Supervisor position requires a professional, organized individual with the ability to take ownership of new projects. This role requires management of multiple projects simultaneously, accuracy in daily work, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Ability to Measure and Assess staff training needs
• Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously
• Proficient in Microsoft program and to learning computer software
• Ability to work independently and monitor one’s own projects
• Ability to learn manufacturing process and product flow
• Ability to adjust work hours when required

Responsibilities

• Verify and spot check daily-PH2, PH3 & Solid Lube production & process
• Confirm that container arrive at production lines correctly labeled with serialized tags
• Ensure customer required spreadsheets are completed daily
• Monitor customer’s forecast to ensure capacity availability
• Audit new associates work and validate effectiveness of training
• Encase of delay in shipment from any process production problem, grasp situation quickly, provide instruction to prevent issues for customer as well as adding any extra cost, Use problem summary form to explain, track & document occurrence as needed.
• Set daily production schedule for PH2, PH3 & S/L
• Order supplies need for area
• Ensure customer inventories are completed and submitted as requested by customer
• Communication with customer for PH2 and PH3 & S/L
• Assist Senior Production Manager for assigning shipping and receiving activities.
• Work with shipping and receiving team leader to ensure all shifts are covered.
• Confirm incoming customer receiving documents are entered into inventory system correctly
• Confirm outgoing customer shipping documents are accurate and complete
• Prepare monthly graph of down time and root cause & countermeasure.
• Prepare monthly summary of continuous improvement activities.
• Practice actively in the 5S program
• Monitor quality and quantity of work for production associates
• Provide constructive feedback and coach associates to make improvement in performance
• Schedule vacation accordingly and plan backup to ensure responsible duties are not interfered
• Additional duties may be required as needed by Parker Trutec and our customers.
