About The Position

(Wed-Sat 7p-5:30a) We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Manager to oversee daily operations in our warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring shipping and receiving quality and maintaining inventory control. This role is crucial in enhancing productivity and implementing process improvements while fostering a safe and positive work atmosphere.

Requirements

• Experience in a warehouse management or supervisory role is preferred
• Strong knowledge of shipping and receiving processes, including 3PL (Third Party Logistics) operations
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking inventory and operations
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and other departments

Responsibilities

• Account for team's attendance
• Evaluate the work area for safety concerns and divide the day's goal amongst the team
• Live data tracking of trailer progress, accounting for team's whereabouts/progress
• Communicating with customer for invoicing
• Teaching and training new associates
• Ensure work areas are clean for handoff
