About The Position

The Supervisor at ABM Industries is responsible for overseeing front-line employees, ensuring productivity and customer service standards are met while adhering to safety and compliance regulations. This role involves managing staffing levels, schedules, and employee performance, as well as maintaining communication with clients and other managers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• 10 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Previous management experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to perform basic math functions.

Responsibilities

• Direct oversight of front-line employees in respective line of service.
• Ensure productivity levels and customer service requirements are met.
• Monitor and maintain staffing levels with assistance from Human Resources.
• Ensure future schedules are complete, covering days off and vacations.
• Manage employee lunches and breaks, and cover call-offs.
• Communicate with client representatives regarding operations.
• Maintain daily shift reports for managers.
• Perform basic administrative and payroll functions as applicable.
• Coach, counsel, and discipline employees effectively.
• Work with Safety Quality Manager to ensure safety and security of operations.
• Set a positive, professional example for the workforce.
