About The Position

The Water Mitigation Unit (WMU) Supervisor is primarily responsible to direct Property WMU operations team operations to ensure organized and effective processing and resolution of accurate Emergency Services invoicing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • IICRC certification WTR (Water Restoration Technician) and ASD (Applied Structural Drying) preferred.
  • Hold, or be able to obtain, state Property Adjuster P&C Licenses including, but not limited to, GA, OK, and TX.
  • A minimum of 5 years related Company experience preferred.
  • Leadership experience preferred.
  • Experience in complex claim file negotiations, customer and vendor relations, conflict resolution, and Emergency Services mitigation preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Equivalent combination of education and/or experience with construction or first party Property Claims.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise WMU team member day-to-day activities regarding invoice processing and resolution.
  • Assist in the development and execution of objectives, procedures and operations of the WMU.
  • Monitor and review WMU files to ensure adherence to Company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain production records and prepare leadership reports regarding WMU operations.
  • Provide performance feedback and conduct performance management for team members.
  • Maintain current knowledge of Company policy, claims developments, industry trends, and procedural changes.
  • Direct organization and processing of files which have escalated to legal proceedings.
  • Represent the Company and Property Claims in relationships with Emergency Services vendors.
  • Represent the Company and WMU in relationships with consumers, government agencies, vendors, and agents.
