Requirements

• Must be currently located in the same geographic location as the job or willing to relocate promptly at own expense.
• 3-5 years of logistics/warehousing experience.
• Previous Supervisor/Management experience is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree and/or 3 years of UPS experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a warehouse with inbound and outbound freight shipments processed within a short timeframe.
• Support business products by collaborating with vendors, customers, and other internal support groups for the movement of international and domestic air and ocean shipments.
• Monitor and manage facility performance to ensure materials are processed in a timely manner and meet customers' requirements.
• Oversee daily facility activities related to loading and unloading containers, pulling orders, freight sorting, customer support, facility inspections, and handling employee concerns.
• Evaluate and correct the performance and outcomes of a team or multiple teams.
• Coordinate work across the organization to optimize efficiency.
• Make key workforce decisions, such as hiring, onboarding, transferring, laying off, disciplining, assigning, directing, instructing, developing, and rewarding employees.
• Set priorities for the team to ensure task completion and coordinate work activities with other supervisors.
