About The Position

BakeMark is a manufacturer and distributor with 23 branches conveniently-located across the U.S. This position will oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, coordinates staff and workflows, enforce safety and quality standards, and drives productivity to ensure timely, accurate receipt, storage, and shipment of goods.

Responsibilities

• Monitor productivity reports and compare results against established objectives; implement corrective actions as needed to address performance gaps.
• Follow up on all customer inquiries and requests to ensure timely resolution and satisfaction.
• Treat all internal and external customers with professionalism, respect, and courtesy.
• Uphold and comply with company policies, standards, and values.
• Take accountability for how individual and team actions impact customers and overall company performance.
• Oversee shipping, receiving, slotting, sanitation, equipment usage, and truck loading operations.
• Verify all outbound shipments for accuracy.
• Prepare and process route invoices.
• Establish and manage nightly loading schedules.
• Review pick sheets for errors or discrepancies and ensure corrections are made.
• Secure the facility after daily business hours.
• Enter and maintain records using company systems.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations as outlined in the Employee Handbook and other communications.
• Demonstrate BakeMark’s core values of Partnership, Performance, Passion, and Initiative in all assigned duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support company objectives.
• Assigns duties to warehouse personnel.
• Issues written and oral instructions.
• Prepares work schedules and expedites workflow.
• Examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
• Maintains harmony among workers and resolves problems.
