From your PASSION to ours Lactalis USA, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring a Warehouse Supervisor based in Buffalo, NY.Hours - Sunday - Thursday - 9:00 am - 5:30 pm Summary: Perform Supervisory functions in the parameters set-forth by the parent company.

Requirements

Experienced forklift knowledge/operator necessary.
Strong communication abilities, written and verbal.
Knowledge of computer software is necessary.
High School Diploma.
2-4 years of Supervisory experience.
Valid Driver’s License required.

Nice To Haves

Perishable and dry goods warehouse experience preferred.
Inventory control, cycle counts, and FIFO systems formats preferred.
AS400 Prism knowledge, Word and Excel a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform functions directly related to a manufacturing facility.
Perform shipping and receiving functions.
Perform operational computer transactions.
Reports to the warehouse manager for daily operations and job assignments in an efficient and professional manner.
Supervises the implementation of all S.O.P. procedures, GMP policies and Quality Control formats.
Supervises the selection and staffing of all production requisitions.
Ensure all employees are punched in for their shift start.
Ensure all employees are properly equipped with a uniform; helmet, safety glasses, hairnet, etc.
Ships and receives all manufactured goods and raw materials according to South Park S.O.P. policies.
Check the rotation and charging of driver’s batteries.
Processes all dispositional HOLDS with the forklift operator – verifies quantities and properly identifies in relation to the disposition.
Ships and receives all loads assigned by the department manager.
Runs bills of lading and process product transfers on the AS400 when required.
Participates in monthly physical inventories as designated by the corporate staff, and performs cycle counts with the department manager.
