About The Position

Holtec Advanced Manufacturing Division in Camden, NJ is seeking an experienced Warehouse and Logistics Supervisor with a strong background in warehouse operations, domestic and international transportation coordination, and supply chain logistics. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing daily shipping and receiving activities, ensuring materials are processed in accordance with approved procedures, and maintaining compliance with all operational, safety, and quality requirements. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge of transportation modes and freight operations, demonstrate advanced organizational and problem-solving skills, and have the ability to lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The Warehouse and Logistics Supervisor oversees daily activities of shipping and warehouse associates, ensuring that materials are received, handled, and shipped accurately and efficiently. This position plays a key role in supporting production, procurement, accounting, safety, and project management functions by ensuring on-time delivery performance, managing carrier relationships, and driving continuous operational improvement.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3 – 5+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse operations or related field required
  • Forklift Experience
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse management; intermediate to advanced computer skills in MS Office
  • Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Motivational skills to drive results, handle change-management, and achieve/exceed targets and goals

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily shipping and receiving operations to ensure materials are received, handled, and shipped in accordance with approved procedures and operational standards.
  • Direct and monitor associate performance, providing coaching, feedback, and accountability to drive productivity, safety, and quality results.
  • Maintain overall responsibility for operational performance, escalating maintenance concerns and operational issues to appropriate leadership in a timely manner.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems, reports, and operational data to make informed decisions, prioritize activities, and effectively direct staff.
  • Coordinate domestic and international shipments across multiple transportation modes, including small parcel, LTL, FTL, oversized/over-dimensional, ocean, air, and rail.
  • Manage freight forwarders and ensure compliance with international shipping documentation, customs requirements, and administrative processes.
  • Partner with carriers at all levels (drivers, operations teams, freight pay) and support freight rate negotiations and cost-control initiatives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with accounting, production, safety, project management, and procurement to ensure efficient and timely logistics execution.
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving, organizational, and multi-tasking skills while working independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Perform work in an active warehouse and loading environment requiring extended standing and walking; frequent climbing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, and repetitive motion; exposure to varying conditions; and the ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds.
