The Supervisor- Warehouse Distribution is responsible for leading the shift in areas of shipping, loading, receiving, warehouse storage, product rotation, inventory accuracy, productivity, quality, and safety.What your day will look like: Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the UNITED policies and applicable laws Interview, hire, and train associates Plan, assign, and direct work Appraise performance Address complaints and resolve problems Builds positive associate morale Coordinates all shipping/receiving along with transportation Oversees all inventory control and product rotation Manage Shipping/Receiving Department, Inventory, Repack, Gate, or Night Loading Mains responsibility for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the units listed above Maintain a clean and orderly work environment Accurately approve and maintain employee time approval Manage employee scheduling such as vacation, sick, and requested time off Train employees on OSHA monthly trainings Performs appropriate duties as assigned by management
