About The Position

The Supervisor - Valet position is part-time and located in New Haven, CT. The role involves motivating and leading staff to promote teamwork and a customer service environment. Responsibilities include responding to customer inquiries and complaints, assisting with training and scheduling of staff, maintaining equipment and supplies, reconciling daily bank reports, monitoring cleanliness and safety at facilities, and performing valet, attendant, or cashier duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Valid driver's license with at least 2 years of driving experience.
  • Energetic and outgoing personality.
  • Ability to stand, run, and carry items up to 50lbs.
  • Great communication skills in both written and spoken language.
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment and ability to resolve customer issues positively.
  • At least one year of related parking and/or customer service experience.
  • Motivated individual willing to take on new challenges.
  • Organized, honest, and thoughtful.
  • Described by friends as trustworthy, loyal, and dependable.
  • Self-sufficient, resourceful, collaborative, and decisive.
  • Flexible schedule to work weekends and holidays.
  • Strong conversational communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Valet parking experience: 1 year+.
  • Customer service experience: 1 year+.

Responsibilities

  • Help motivate and lead staff in promoting teamwork and a customer service environment.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and complaints and assist with completing accident/incident reports.
  • Assist with training, scheduling, and evaluation of staff.
  • Assist local management with maintaining and/or cataloging all equipment, uniforms, and supplies.
  • Reconcile daily bank reports and ticket logs and identify discrepancies as applicable.
  • Maintain log of field bank transactions, uniforms issued, and parking violators, as applicable.
  • Monitor cleanliness and physical conditions at the assigned facilities and report any safety or maintenance issues to local management.
  • Perform valet, attendant, or cashier duties as needed.
