About The Position

Assists in running and operating a parking structure and managing team members within the property. Oversee outdoor operations to ensure efficient, four-star/four-diamond service to casino, resort & spa guests. Outdoor operations include shuttle, door & valet departments. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of Valet, Door & Shuttle operations Partner with Front Office to ensure the utmost in guest service Communicates to Assistant Valet Manager relevant information needed to increase guest service Ensure 4-Star/4-Diamond service is delivered to all guests arriving and utilizing the valet, door and shuttle amenities thus ensuring loyalty and satisfaction of our parking customers Effectively respond to customer inquiries, complaints and day-to-day operational issues Immediately reports any accidents/injuries to the Assistant Valet Manager. Performs other job related duties as assigned SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Requires strong leadership and motivational skills. Will interact with various levels of staff, management, government officials, and the public. Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training team members; maintaining a safe, secure, and legal work environment; developing personal growth opportunities. Accomplishes staff results by communicating job expectations; grooming standards, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining team members; developing, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards. Qualifications Excellent verbal skills. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of classified information. Excellent organizational, time management, and problem solving abilities. Ability to tactfully and diplomatically deal with the public and staff. Must possess excellent business sense and high professional ethics. Must possess a high regard for customer service and team member relations. Computer aptitude. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or GED required. A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in Valet Service operations. Requires one (1) year in supervisory role. Hospitality or Casino Resort experience preferred. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Must undergo and successfully pass a background investigation to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Morongo Tribal Gaming Commission. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to interpret documents and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form, such as rules and regulations, instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to write reports and correspondence. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add and subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to develop and maintain harmonious working relationships with staff and guests. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The team member frequently is required to walk and reach with hands and arms. The team member is occasionally required to sit. May be required to climb. The team member must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. WORK ENVIRONMENT: This is a fast paced work environment and the position requires the ability to cope with it. The office environment has moderate noise levels and is a non-smoking environment. The casino has moderate to loud noise levels and is a smoking environment. WORKING HOURS: Because we are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, most positions require flexibility in scheduling and may require team members be available for evenings, weekends, holidays and special events. A typical workweek and normal work schedules may vary based on business needs and may include scheduled shifts Monday through Sunday. Position may require overtime.
